Hollie Cavanagh closes “American Idol” with Miley Cyrus‘ “The Climb,” which is a fantastic choice for her voice and style.
It’s just an enjoyable song to listen to, and she performs it well. Letting loose more than we’ve seen; just seems to be a song she likes, isn’t doing it because she’s been told it’s a good fit.
Maybe her best performance of the year; and man, she has great vocals….
Judges give her a standing ovation, she’s overjoyed. Nice moment for somebody who’s gotten her fair share of critcism on the show.
“Yo, that was beautiful! Perfect song for you!” raves Randy Jackson.
Jennifer Lopez loved it too, “it was great” Steven Tyler says, “it was so beautiful.” Yeah, this may have kept her from getting voted off.
