Miley Cyrus is definitely someone you want in your corner! Actress Ashley Judd has been taking a lot of heat because of her recent swollen appearance. Many critics assumed that Ashley’s “puffy faced” appearance was the result of plastic surgery.
Ashley maintained that it was medication, not plastic surgery that her caused her face to swell up. She also wrote an editorial for the Daily Beast slamming the media for their unhealthy fixation on women’s physical appearances.
Ashley described the conversation as,
“pointedly nasty, gendered, and misogynistic and embodies what all girls and women in our culture, to a greater or lesser degree, endure every day.”
Miley agreed. As she tweeted,
